Gavin Mosley (CEBS), Group Benefits Consultant

Gavin began his employee benefits career in 2005 with one of Canada’s top three group insurance carriers as an Account Manager, where he received best-in-class technical training and developed his keen sense for creative problem-solving. In 2011, he joined the independent consulting community to explore new products and renewal arrangements with the goal of helping his clients save money without cutting coverage, all the while making the plans easier to understand for employees.

After gaining experience with both small and large consulting firms, Gavin opened the doors to Mosley Group Benefits, where he is committed to improving the client experience using new InsurTech capabilities within a robust product shelf.

Through the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans, Gavin holds a Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) designation. One of the most widely recognized and respected professional credentials, the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist program is a unique, university-developed curriculum covering all aspects of employer-sponsored group health and retirement benefits.

In the community, Gavin sits on the board of the Ottawa Region Rewards Association, a not-for-profit professional association for human resources practitioners whose mission is to advance the professional practice of compensation, benefits and total rewards.
